My Very Special Someone (part 2)

wh
Hey peoples.
*Hi Gilf!
Guess what this post is about?!

Remember that post I typed.....way back in March?  You know...that super long 8,000-word post that was so long you probably skimmed through most of it......that one post where I said waaaay too much, and....okay...fine.  This post...this post right here.

So!  My Very Special Someone (part 1)!....but...part 2!  How exciting!  I'll try to make this one shorter though, much shorter!

So...some of you may be wondering what took me so long....and my answer would be procrastination that I needed more time!  This is an...important post, okay?!  And I needed time to make it perfect!

Dear English AP Teacher.....

Hi.

I'm kind of torn between wanting you to never read this.....and.....hoping you read this so that you'll understand my....situation better.

So you know how....on November 9th, 2016, I was performing for the Remembrance day assembly, and I made the wise decision to come back to your class after the show ended, even though I had the freedom to take the rest of the block off?

Remember that?

Yeah?  Good.

So.

A Cringeworthy Interview

Hello everyone!

Yes, yes, I know....it's been a while since I've posted anything.  I know what you're thinking....

Elizabeth!  You're on summer vacation already!  Meaning, you don't have to go to school and complete copious amounts of homework anymore, what's your excuse now, huh?  HUH?

Okay, so maybe that isn't exactly what you were thinking, but it was close enough, yes?  Good. Besides, I DO have an excuse.  I went camping for a few days....and then....summer school.....!

I'll definitely try to write a post of my wretched camping experience as soon as possible, buuut, I

MACBETH

HI.

PEOPLES.

I.

AM.

UPSET.

...but at the same time...also, somewhat happy.

So, the other day...in my English class, the teacher was handing out Macbeth books...because we were starting Macbeth.

Now, you see how I've stated the obvious?  Let me do it some more.  I have a point to this, okay?  Be patient...
  • I like reading
  • I like books
  • I like new books
  • I like smelling books
  • I am shy
  • I am super shy
Now that I've pointed out more obvious stuff...let's begin.
Or...continue.

My Very Special Someone (part 1)!

Okay, peoples?!

I'm finally going to write this.  This is the post you've all been waiting for, have been begging me to write...I know it's going to be impossible for me to cover everything I feel about this person in only one blog post*...which is one reason why I've delayed the writing of this post...another would be the fact that I'm addicted to procrastination.  It's a horrible addiction, really.

Also...yeah, I know...I haven't posted something in quite a while, so bear with me as I unleash my words....

*actually, if you use your super investigative detector skills, you'll find that I refer to him in many of my posts...you may even find a name somewhere....

**also, I think this will be part one of a two part series...so there's this one...and there will be another one coming...on this one meeting we had...

***oh, and to my very special someone reading this...I hope you're happy now.  I've finally written this.  And now you'll know all about what I think of you...which is kinda unfair, really...why don't I get to read enormous posts dedicated to me, from you?  Yeah, yeah, you don't have a blog, but bah!  Minor details...send a post to me mentally, 'kay?

****WARNING: THIS WILL BE A VERY LONG POST.  Like, seriously, a giant post...one so big, your mind will explode!  But rest assured, I've take the necessary precautions...you'll just feel some small irritation in your eyes, and maybe some itching....

*****okay, last one...I'll be "talking" to this very special someone throughout this post, and you'll know because I've made the text a different colour...

So.  Since I can't possibly say everything I want to say...I have made a list of things I wish to tell you about...in long paragraph format.  And maybe some other stuff I'll randomly decide to throw in....so...pretty much just a regularly formatted post...and by that, I mean, a mess, with no format whatsoever.

Hello? Blogger? I've Got Good News...

Well hello there people!

Have you ever heard of WordPress?  In case you haven't, it's pretty much the same as Blogger.  When I first decided to start a blog, I chose Blogger, but then somewhere along the way, I decided that I'd also like to try WordPress, to see which one my indecisive mind would like more.

The Story Of How I Came To Hate Light Bulbs

Hey peoples...I've been having a really bad day...also, I've discovered a newfound hatred for light bulbs, especially shattered ones on stages.

WARNING: long post coming your way

So...for those of you who don't know, I dance...I specialize in Chinese Dance (extra lessons on weekends, and the tuition could easily reach a few thousand dollars), but because I love dance so much, I'm taking a senior dance course in school as well, I'm also involved in a dance club...yay me...

More Reviews!

Oooooooooooooooooooh...kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay............so....uh....I...I've, uh....been thinking...

Remember that post?  This one right here: No More Reviews!

Well, you can probably predict the direction of this post now, right?

Just in case you're either 1) too lazy to click on the above mentioned post, or 2) *insert excuse of your choice here*, I will sum up the post: No one reads my reviews, they skip over them, so there is no point in posting something that no one will appreciate.  So, I decided to stop posting them...until my indecisive mind tells me otherwise.

Well this is my indecisive mind telling me otherwise.

Allow my mind to explain itself.  Take it away, Mind.

For the First Time in Foreveeeeeeeeer, I Visisted the Orpheum Theatre...

Hey peoples!  Guess what I recently did on October 18th, 2015?!  I went to the Orpheum Theatre!  That is, I went to see my very first live performance of a...okay, wait, let me see if I get this right...symphony performed by an orchestra?

Argh, I've always gotten the words symphony and orchestra mixed up...but if my googling skills have done their magic...a symphony is a musical composition played by an orchestra...I think I got that right, right?  Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

EEK, I've really got to stop procrastinating, but in my defence, I was trying to think up the right words to properly and accurately describe the marvelous experience I had.  Yep, really.  I needed a whole week and a day to translate all my thoughts to words.  Pfft...psh...*other ridiculous sounds* yeah...as if anyone believes that...

OKAY.  MOVING ON.

No More Reviews!

Ok, so maybe the title may have been slightly misleading, BUT, something IS changing.  Allow me to explicate...

As you all know, I write reviews for books, and sometimes I'm even lucky enough to receive free copies of books from publishers and authors in exchange for a review.  I've always been insecure about my reviews, and I still am, but I'm working on it, ok?

From my experience, most people who read this blog aren't bookworms, which is sad...
No matter, but when someone tells me they hardly read, well, that's just shocking.  Heh, their lost.

Goodbye Piano... *cries*

(sigh, I really need to catch up on my posts, anyways, here's one from a month ago...)

*read the following four sentences in a dramatic voice*

Guys! Something tragic happened! A few weeks ago, I made the huge decision to stop taking piano lessons...yes. You read it correctly...!

I've been playing piano since I was six or seven. I'm sixteen now. If you know anything about your Asian stereotypes, you'd now think that I have dishonoured my family, and I am a failure...

Night Market Misfortunes

Tonight we went to the Richmond Night Market.  How pleasant, right?  Now, I knew before we even arrived that there would be a 99.99% chance that I would see someone I know from school.  There are over 1,000 people in my school.  Chances are, I'm going to see them, right?  If I were completely honest with myself, I don't like seeing people I know from school outside of school...it feels weird, OK?  And...surprise, surprise.  I did see many, many people from school.  But one guy I didn't expect to see was A____ (we'll call him Guy #3 again).  Refer to my previous post, You've Reading It, I've Read It, Therefore We Should Discuss It. ASAP to get a complete background before reading this.

You're Reading It, I've Read It, Therefore We Should Discuss It. ASAP

In English a few classes ago (May 11th, if I recall correctly), I glanced behind me, for some unknown reason, and you'll never believe what I saw.  I saw a guy (let's call him guy #3).  Reading a book.  And not just any book, but The Wizard Heir.  Ohmygosh...I read this book is gr.7 and I fell in love with it.  I went crazy, and I bothered my only two friends about how much I loved it.  I even  purposely told them that I really liked this guy in the book, to make them read it, and guess who it was.

My Teacher's Mug and the Stupid Girl (me) Who Had No Idea How to Operate a Water Fountain

A few weeks ago, April 23rd, to be exact, my teacher in Planning 10, asked me for a simple favor. But the trip I took to complete her simple task was anything but simple.  If only she knew how this one errand would cause me so much trouble...

I Just Realized Something...

Okay, like the heading just said, I just realized something.  Nothing big, like the meaning of life or anything like that, but about what I'm doing here.  Or actually lack of what I'm doing here.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that this blogging thing is supposed to be a regular thing.  I don't remember the last time I posted something on here, which might be a problem.  I'm still writing down stuff so that I'll remember to put it on here later, but I just so lazy.  I procrastinate and give pathetic excuses like, "Oh, I don't have enough time for that..." when really, I have so much time, I just choose not to spend that time on this.

I "run away" from doing anything that requires too much brain power, much like this adorable penguin.  Even though I shouldn't be running away, because I had a goal in mind when I decided to start a blog.  I wanted to be able to type out my thoughts and feelings, and hopefully it will help me voice out my thoughts better, maybe.

Anyways, I will try to post on here more regularly from now on.  How does once a century sound?  Good? No? Okay, how about once a decade?  Better?  No? Okay, fine.  How about once a month, maybe?  Good?  Okay good.  But no promises.....

Hmm...I wonder...

I've been thinking....did you know that there is something very similar to Blogger, but it's called WordPress?

I love Blogger, but I thought it'd be cool to try this blogging thing on WordPress.  I tried setting up a blog there, and it's confusing.  It's so much more complicated, and complex.  I love Blogger for it's simplicity, but WordPress seems so much more...customizable...Hmm...to switch or not to switch?  That is the question...

For now, I guess I'll just use both, and if I find one that suits me more than the other, then....

Can you find it, my other blog?  If you do find it, you'll see/know what I mean, it looks a lot better.  I might even post some things on there that  I won't post on here...

*on a side note, I made it through a post without using any gifs! Huzzah!
