Hello people!

Have you ever heard of Bloglovin?

Well, in case you haven't...it's...ah, who am I kidding, I'm not good at explaining stuff, I'll just make a big mess out of it.   Google "bloglovin" if you're really curious. 

I've been following blogs on Bloglovin for a year (maybe two) now.  I'm following over 600 blogs...but shh...I do have a life, okay?

I may have discovered Bloglovin over a year ago, but I've only just discovered that I can "claim" my blog...I searched up the link for my blog, and what do you know!  It's there!  So I claimed it.  Woo! 

Anyhoo...in order to claim it, I had to put the link below somewhere in a blog post...so...ta da!

I Finally Have A...

Kindle!

I love reading.  You know that. 

So...ever since I heard the name Kindle, I've been curious.  When I finally saw it before my very eyes though...I immediately turned my head away in disgust.

How could the people of this world even begin to try to replicate the joys of reading a physical book with this...this device?  It's a massive wrong.  Wrong, I tell you!

But it wasn't until a few months later, I was lugging around a 600 paged hardcover book around in my bag that I started to reconsider a Kindle, which would weigh...much, much less.  Don't get me wrong, I had no regrets about carrying such a monstrosity of a book in my bag.  I would gladly take everything out just so that I could put that one book in.  Of course, my mom would never let that happen, so I'd have to carry it in my hands...or stuff it in my jacket...but...wouldn't that be silly...this large bulge in my shirt...ha.

Hello? Blogger? I've Got Good News...

Well hello there people!

Have you ever heard of WordPress?  In case you haven't, it's pretty much the same as Blogger.  When I first decided to start a blog, I chose Blogger, but then somewhere along the way, I decided that I'd also like to try WordPress, to see which one my indecisive mind would like more.

Hello people!  Today is one of those days where I found some time on my hands, and have decided to catch up on some posts, I've left in drafts since June 17...so.  Without further ado...The Actual Post

Today, while I was bored in French, I thought I would do some writing.  So...what should I write about?  Life?  School?  Life in general?  Books?  Hmm...how about...neighbours.  My neighbours, specifically?  Yesss...

MY IMMORTAL FISH!

Ok, quick post.

I have fish!  Both for real and animated ones.  More on the real ones in a different post, maybe.  As for the animated ones, scroll all the way to the bottom of my blog and you should see fish!  You can even click on the water to feed them.  How cool, right?

My Teacher's Mug and the Stupid Girl (me) Who Had No Idea How to Operate a Water Fountain

A few weeks ago, April 23rd, to be exact, my teacher in Planning 10, asked me for a simple favor. But the trip I took to complete her simple task was anything but simple.  If only she knew how this one errand would cause me so much trouble...

Hmm...I wonder...

I've been thinking....did you know that there is something very similar to Blogger, but it's called WordPress?

I love Blogger, but I thought it'd be cool to try this blogging thing on WordPress.  I tried setting up a blog there, and it's confusing.  It's so much more complicated, and complex.  I love Blogger for it's simplicity, but WordPress seems so much more...customizable...Hmm...to switch or not to switch?  That is the question...

For now, I guess I'll just use both, and if I find one that suits me more than the other, then....

Can you find it, my other blog?  If you do find it, you'll see/know what I mean, it looks a lot better.  I might even post some things on there that  I won't post on here...

*on a side note, I made it through a post without using any gifs! Huzzah!

Hello again people! Gosh, keeping up a blog is hard work.  I could easily just be lazy and never write here again.  For those of you who actually read what I write, try to leave a comment below with your thoughts on whether it's worth keeping a blog, or not.

*I say try because blogging is new and foreign to me, so leaving a comment below with let me know that I did something right.  You can do this one little thing for me, right?

How in the world do gifs work...?

Did I do this right?
You should see a man eating stuff from a bowl on his head with two spoons...do you see it?
If you did: Yessssss!  I succeeded, if you didn't: dang it...back to the drawing board...

I've seen a lot of these gifs recently, and I've laughed at a lot of them, so I wanted to try using them too. 

Part of the reason I wanted to start this blog is because I wanted to experiment with stuff, like gifs and blog templates, and stuff...

Oh, gosh! I just can't stop smiling at that guy shoveling who knows what into his mouth, I find it hilarious :)
